Hmm, since we got heads' accessories, why not go for bodies too?

You know those point triangle hats? (Looks like the default strawhat we have) It would look nice if we can put it on the back of our bodies.

We are allowed to customize our heads with hats, why not our bodies too?

Some ideas would be:

A sword on back
Hats on back
Necklace
Scarfs
Armors-Gloves-Armpatch-etc
Belts
Backpacks

This may or may not effect gameplay at all, but might be a cool feature to add

because you can already put necklaces, bags, swords on your bodies. Having hats on your body is stupid, and theres already scarf hats

Next thing you know iClassic will become a real rpg

Gold Gauntlet: 2% chance of instant gold gralat
Boots of swiftness: speed +10
Power Gloves: Able to lift heavy rocks
Bigger bomb pouch: Hold more bombs
Luck earrings: Dig up more maps/+10% chance of finding rare loot
Samurai's sword: +5 sword range
Ninja's Necklace: Chance to do 1 full heart damage +40%

Those would be my stats

Hmm, then add something unique that differienciate this and shields. Like, armors protects you from arrows of all directions. Don't worry, the armors can break after a few waves of arrows come at you, then you will have to go to a blacksmith or some place to get it fixed.

How to counter armors:
Well, basically the arrow can cause damage when the person is using the sword.

Maybe the armor can defend against bombs too? But after being hit by 2 bombs, the armor will break and you will have to fix it?

Backpack. Backpack can give you more than 2 hotkeys. 1 for arrows, one for bombs, and one for a horse if you'd like.

But introducing armors can probably give people an oppotunity to come up with new tactics for towering. Now, before you say anything, armors won't be effected in any spar match.

Yes, yes. But how about making these effect gameplay? I just love the idea of bringing armors to this game.

Some of the stuff mentioned (like backpacks) could be interesting if they actually served a purpose (which, I'm not sure what that would be for a backpack, but you get the idea). Other than stuff with legitimate gameplay mechanics, I'm not sure adding player accessories for the sake of adding accessories is the way to go.

Discussed this with Stefan a long time ago. Can probably add 1 additional thing, but anymore than that there would be big issues with lag. There is also technical planning that never happened (and is too out of hand) on Classic for this to happen.

Hmm, backpack can give you an extra hotkey? Like, I think of the 2 hotkeys we have right now are like hands. Add a backpack could be like a hotkey.

Or maybe, you can store extra arrows and bombs in there. So when you run out of arrows and bombs, you still got some in your backpack
