ya,he probably sparred like a total of 100K times...all true.But,"technically" he still does'nt have 5k spar wins.

No. He does have well over 5,000 wins. Easily. You just don't see that on his iClassic profile. No such thing as an equivalency between wins and experience.  

So if I reset my stats and I have 0 wins I'm as likely to beat an Alumni member than someone that just downloaded the app for the first time? OK

No. He does have well over 5,000 wins. Easily. You just don't see that on his iClassic profile. No such thing as an equivalency between wins and experience.

It happens to me to spread some butter on my screen, it helps me to keep my movements fluid and reduce lag.

this is actually one of the things preventing me from getting into sparring on an iDevice - my hands never feel moist enough to move around the screen fluidly

my hands are just too big for sparring on an iPhone, maybe the Plus model would make it more possible  

You should have some nice movements don't just stand in 1 spot and slash. I would say watch some spars and pinpoint peoples faults or see what people are doing right. Take int into account and try and spar... eventually you'll get used to someones style and know how to counter them. I have noticed that having series' with good players can help. Furthermore you should join the 1v1 spar tournaments CrimeWatcher hosts because lots of good sparrers are in there so you can observe and see what they do right/wrong.  

watch Brett and spar him as much as possible.Don't care about yours stats...you will eventually cover up all the loses...

Jason aka Relentless Mirage taught me this method.. it's actually better to not over compensate on your dancing because it leaves more room for error. I like to stand still with random jerky one direction movements to throw my opponents mental game off, usually rushing in for a strike after if I see an opening to.
