Everyone loves to PK at the Mod Tower, but I strongly recommend everyone Pking at the castle. If you truly enjoy Pking I think you will have better success Pking at the Castle.

Usually the guild that holds the Castle, most of their members are AFK, and even if they're not AFK they're noobs, so it will be easy kills, and easy to increase your stats if that's what you're going for.

Tips for Castle:

USE MOUNT You don't need arrows and bombs, so I recommend keeping mount ready to go. If you are killed inside the flag room, using the mount will help you get back to flag room quicker. I've actually timed how long it takes to get inside flag room of castle compared to getting in flag room at mod. It is a little quicker at castle if you are using mount. One of the reasons many people pk at mod is because they believe it's quicker to get to flag room, this is not true if you are using mount.

Last Life Try to exit flag room when you are on your last life. Let them kill you in the hall instead. If you are killed in the hall then it sends you to another room in castle that is a shorter distance then having to start from outside. Plus you can still use your mount from this room, so it shortens the time even more.

USE BOMBS The reason you should use bombs, is because the leader of the guild that dwells in castle always tells his members to surround flag. So if you have a bunch of players surround the flag, you're going to hit a lot of them with the bomb and increase your kill count quickly.

attack outside of castle If you are trying to take the castle with your guild, bfm will send a lot of them members to block the door facing away from the door. What I recommend doing in this situation is sending one of your members outside of the castle and behind the door. Have this member shoot arrows at the players blocking the door. It will be very easy kills, and a good way to increase yoru PKs.

So this is just a few reasons on why the castle is best place to PK. Feel free to add to this thread.  

Maybe, but I am not really confident in my 1v1 or pking skills, so MoD is easier for me because there are other pkers that the the defenders have to focus on and not just me. If everyone packed up from mod and went to castle, I would pk there instead.

To be honest when I'm at mod I get on average 5 kills before being killed and at castle I get about 10 before being killed. I think I get less at mod because there is that narrow doorway at mod where it makes it unavoidable from getting hit.

There has been times where I've gotten 40 kills at castle before being killed.

Not at all. I guarantee you will get more pks at castle.

I recommend you pk at mod for an hour keeping track of your kills then pk at castle for same amount of time, and see where you get the most. Use my tips and I guarantee it will be double the kills at castle.

Will do, thanks. However it isn't all about the kills for me, Pking at mod is also a lot of fun because you can get into duels with other pkers and try and take the flag when it's low. So again, if all the pkers left mod and went to castle I'd be there without a doubt.

Yeah, the great thing about mod is there is always a group of PKers there. I wish all those PKers would come to the castle because it would be so much more fun!  

Yeah castle pk used to be good, york fort pk was fun aswell.

The only reason I need. Bfm is there.  

Based on someone who used to dominate castle, retired.
1. Getting someone to kill you in halls might take a while sometimes, so you are better off just dying in flag room, since horses don't lose their bush speed.
2. Bombs drop when you die. I'm not rich, so yeah.
3. I have seen people shoot arrows behind stair blockers, and it's pretty easy to just evade them.
4. Statistically speaking you get more pks at MoD consistently over Castle, since the time to get to flag is shorter, and it's more crowded. Sure you might get a lot of pks in castle over time in one life, after you died a bunch and have a lot of people in flag at .5-1.
5. I think it is more fun to pk at castle though, since it is less chaos. I used to run away and not let people kill me, and they would get pissed. Then I would go heal with the pots, before ap was a thing on iclassic.  

It really depends on your style of play. I can pk decent at castle and if mod is low, it's a viable option.

1. Usually I don't have a problem with them chasing me into hall, but yeah if they don't I'll let them kill me inside flag room.

2. Not if you have numbers like, 4, 9 etc.. So it's important to pay attention to when you're about to die and what number of bombs you have.

3. Yeah if they're paying attention you're right. But if they are blocking door it's easy kills.

4. Based on my research it's more at castle. I've spent an hour at each and got more kills at castle. Nearly double, it might of been because slim was there.
