The worst thing about this GST were weak teams boosting into the higher ranks in the spar list, which caused friendship is magic, blackout, WAR, Alumni to run into each other sooner than they should have. Team Insomni was legit though.  

I still dont get it how do brackets work

I saw dozens of prepared guilds who were above #64 who were registered for idev not enter instead guilds with lower scores managed to get in such as Kawaii Squad and others with 5k or 4k as a score.  

Top teams should be invited while the rest need to qualify, but that requires active ..."spar admins" or something.

Nah **** that just have random guilds battle it out while the server is taking a **** because about 4,000 players are online. The best still tend to win anyway.  

what I don't understand is how the server held 4500 players yesterday the lag is horrendous. Its laggy when there are 3500 online! upgrade already?

That was probably the least laggy gst I've seen hosted in a long, long time.

I agree but I don't understand how the server was fine with 4500 players + destiny + gst rooms. but with 3500 and no gst its laggy af.

Stefan Knorr and Stephane Portha can give a flying **** about anyone's money, so they will never ever ever upgrade the engines that control the bandwidth of all of its servers... They probably don't even have any control over their IT dept. and they probably don't know what a GST is...

It's a shame that after 14 years of playing this **** on and off, I still have to predict 8 year old Jonathan's movement and offense on his iTouch because of the above mentioned.
