Do you need to find all map to done quest or it only appear from random treasure chest ?  

looking for places is easy, looking for actual maps is hard  

Still looking for my first map. Tried looting, pyrats, baddies, and digging. Next up bandits. Hopefully there won't be too many people there.

You can find maps quite quickly if you farm bandits or pyrats. Check the Killing Baddies with Lantern guide for information on farming baddies faster.  

I obtained a Treasure map through a chest. This is another method.

Killing Bandits is probably the most effective way to hunt for treasure maps. I'm going to try to decipher about 6 maps per day. The prices reset every day, meaning all of my 6th maps will always be deciphered for 400.

Do you know where that invisible railroad track is? It leads to caves filled with bandits.  

The Balamb Treasure area's are now fixed thanks dusty.

You cannot get maps from Pyrats unless you have finished the "Assault on Pyrat Bay" Daily Quest.

I don't think this is true, I just got one while killing Pyrats for the quest.
