why make a website to "buy and sell" customs, when people have been stealing from graaldepot for ages?

taylorrichards just gotta have list of public heads/body and we can wear them by typing the code. Or we can buy the public head or small price to use it

I don't see them doing a sethead system, which would be cool.

I was referring to them making heads/bodies accessible to the players, so they could get them from the right place instead of some douche that's trying to get click revenue from other people's work.

The only legal transaction that could happen on something like that is the actual creator selling it to somebody and only if the creator didn't upload it to a server already. So pretty much commissions for a "custom" head. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of questionable transactions if this ever comes to fruition. Scumbags eager to take a page from the bread man and sucker these kids for their lunch money.



Maybe graal should do a taylorrichards version of custom uploads. A place where players can find heads and bodies so they can upload them.

Artists that wants to sell their creations on the graal market will have to apply manually and be interviewed by us. This will make sure they are true artists wanting to sell their own creations.

Along with selling heads, bodies, shields and swords, artists can also offer graphic services on the graal market. Services such as 1k guild hat creation, personalised customs requests and more. Players that wants a personalised custom made can now easily find and hire highly qualified graphics artists to have it done for them.  

Is this even allowed? Is there not some sort of copyright breach involved with the fact you're trying to make a profit off of something with 'Graal' involved?

I edit the sort of heads shown in my signature, would I be able to sell my graphics to people for like $2.50 a head for example? what would be the limit on price, I believe it should only be from $1 shield/sword and $2.50 for bodies/heads

This is a grey area. But take a look at graaldepot for example. The owners at Graalonline don't mind because it generates more revenue for them ;) . IT allows players easy access to customs and therefore more uploads. If its something that actually endangers their revenue stream, then it might be something they will be noticing.

You will be able to set any price you want. The minimum price is $1 USD.

Graal doesn't own any copyrights of the graphics uploaded on their servers unless those graphics were purchased as far as I know.

On a sidenotes, that business model of yours sucks. Would be safer to just have people purchase a subscription so they can shuffle through your files, systems or whatever. But, it's your risk at all.

That will not be tolerated. We will try our best to verify each vendor as much as we can. If it turns out that they violate these rules(owner reports to us), they will be banned from the site.

The vendor application process will be stringent. All vendors will have to go though a "test" to see if they are an actual "qualified" artist or not.

What risks are you taking about? Can you please explain why our current model sucks? I think a subscription model would not fit a marketplace very well. There are complex issues such as how much do I pay each seller?

plus, many buyers may only want to buy 1 or 2 items. Its not economical for them to pay a high price subscription for them.  

No kid on this game who is looking for random uploads will even know what paypal is, thisis the worst idea ever

i dont really like the idea too much.. idk. I dont wanna overreact over lame graal pixelart stuff but they could technically just take the file and sell it for actual money so.
Its a nice idea but the stealing part is meh.
I mean even if the person is a good artist and they get accepted they could still sell someone elses gfx

Yes, there is 56 pages of free head, but players want more. Why is custom uploads so popular after all? Notice how new head and bodies get rarely released in-game now.

Yes you can upload "free" if you can make your own customs. But in reality not many players have the skill or time to make one. This is where the graal market comes in. In addition to premade customs, artists can also offer custom services. I know 1k guilds are all the rage right now. Artist can now offer services to create custom 1k guid hats.

There will be NO customs from graaldepot coming to the graalmarket.

Yeah wasn't referring to the graphics, was talking about the name 'Graal Market' because surely making a profit off of that is some form of copyright breach. I only wonder though because on Fysez' Graal3D thread it was brought up she may have to change the name because 'Graal' was included.
