i like to mod a few nerf guns in my spare time. You can find them really cheap at garage sales and its great fun. Like yesterday a finished a rayven I got for xmas and increased the voltage output from 6V to 12.8V and it shoots a lot farther, faster, and it hits harder. You can also do some crazy **** with them once you get good. Like combining 3 machine guns into one.

Also building nerf guns is fun.

Lego mindstorms are a bundle of fun.

I do programming for a hobby. Not sure if you're into that, but it's great to learn, and could help you with a future career choice.

10/10 would reccomend if you are okay with slamming your keyboard on the ground because your script is broken because you didnt capitalize a letter in a variable or statement.  

Read "Hobbie" as "Hobbit". Why does this keep happening.  

I've recently purchased a microKORG to experiment with. I've been getting on it often and now I'm thinking about making my own music. At the moment, I'm waiting for the price for an audio interphase to drop, yet that won't happen anytime soon. But it's a really interesting hobby. Messing around with synths and getting to know what each knob does is really fun, for me at least. Hope to make some stuff anytime soon.

I've been thinking about putting gaming on the back-burner for a little bit, but I'm having trouble finding a replacement. I don't want to totally give up gaming, so I'll probably be bouncing back and forth between hobbies to keep myself from burning out.


Can someone suggest some hobbies for me?

I love video games, and have had mild interest in airsoft and Warhammer 40k (but not enough to decide on those). I love technology, but don't suggest programming because I tried that but simply didn't have the time to even learn it. Not sure what else to say. Maybe ask some questions about me to attain further understanding of what I might like?

I am an avid musician and love vocals, piano, guitar, and the flute. My ex introduced me to Ableton Live and I've been using it to create my own pieces and acoustic covers . You should definitely try it out! ;*

That sounds...awesome.  

You could just do that with air soft guns but it's more expensive in the long run.

But I've got to admit, buffing nerf guns does sound like fun.  

You get automatically hobbies when you get a gf. Most of them are what Platinum said, they are great excuses to waste the time together.

Its an occupation.

Get it right, scrub.  

There is so many interesting hobbies to get involved in.. Some of mine:

Djing - there is different types of djing one could get into. Producing, turntablism, crowd rocking(party dj).. Learning different genres and how to read a crowd is fun. Or using stuff like abelton live to make unique mixes is fun too.

Hiking - day hikes, or multi day stuff, it's all pretty fun. I got into a minimalist style where you go backpacking and carry as little amount of items as possible and see if you can survive.

Photography/cinematography- get a good dslr and there is all kinds of things you can do. Learning how to photoshop can be extremely fun hobby. Or doing video tricks with programs like final cut or adobe is fun.

Learning languages and becoming a polyglot - it took 4 years Russian. Learning Romanian now. I'd say I've learned about 400 vocabulary words so far with Romanian. It's fun trying to communicate with people in different languages. I actually use graal to talk to Romanians.

Lift weights - lifting heavy stuff is the ultimate high. It can get very addictive.

Musical instruments - I have a ukuleke that I've been meaning to start learning. I'm sure that and any musical instrument would be a good hobby.

I've always used the three hobby rule, one hobby that makes you money, one that you enjoy, and one that allows you to be creative.

My favourite hobby is basically studying anything science related and it makes money while letting me be very creative and I highly enjoy it, my main focus is Quantum/Astro Physics but I deal with a lot of creative work when studying astronomy. So it's pretty much a three-in-one hobby for me.

The one I do for strict enjoyment is learning new languages which started through my world religion studies, I've so far learned Hebrew and Arabic and now focusing on Chinese and Japanese (spending the summer next year in Japan so that'll be lots of enjoyment).

and for creativity I do front-end web developing work and sometimes back-end, in this case I can also use this hobby to earn extra money when/if needed.

I think you'll find hobbies more enjoyable through self discovery, just keep trying new things until you stumble across something you really enjoy!
