Hmm.. I feel as if you'd get better performance for all-around-use with an fx-6300 rather than an i3-4130. They're also very close to the same price. The 6300 includes more physical cores and even with Intel's hyperthreading, it can't catch the performance of the 6300. It's also a better overclocker from what I've heard. If you're willing to get the fx-6300, then here are some good motherboard choices: Mid-ATX: MSI ATX 970(incredible for overclocking) Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX Micro ATX: ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS

I heard People were selling their 970s at low prices...something to do with Nvidia advertising wrong specs about their GFX before the release.U should keep your ears up for deals like this.
