Guild unity hats?
I would like to see less turnover in guild membership. Maybe a reward for if your guild members stay together?

Basically let's say a guild held the same members for a year without kicking or recruiting more and those members were loyal on tag he thinks that should earn them a hat of some sorts to represent the unity they share. I am not saying the time has to be a year or anything though, just the number I chose to use for the example. |

An arbitrary incentive for an arbitrary measure that the community and developers believe is a good measure of guild unity in order to promote permanency of guilds. Hats are a typical incentive. Meanwhile, I would leave the incentive and measure up for debate. Along with a hat for incentive, I would cite the turnover rate of recruits as what I believe would be a reasonable measure.

needs to be some sort of context to guild activity, otherwise this is just "sit on a dead tag for a year and hatch a hat" which I'm sure everyone would absolutely love, because the actual quality of guilds on iClassic is a joke so much needs to be done to the guild system to promote activity, loyalty, and a more honest representation of where your guild stands |

Well TEH combined hours of keeping set tag on fixed group of guildies, tower hours and GS score meeting some kind of bar would be worth a BA gif hat i think

Yay another "bash the old man thread" subscribed . Let the old man alone, he's senile, in his mind us and alumni are the only "respectable/real" guilds on classic. And he only includes us because rufus is his daddy. . Fulgore was starting to agree with me, so I must put an end to that nonsense. ![]() OT: Classic doesn't care about guild loyalty. People have brought up ways to try to promote it, but nothing gets done. Limiting people to one guild ownership and one guild as a member was a good point that was brought up, but guild purchase money is good business. |

This means the players who are in his "guilds" are just doing it to milk the system and disregard respect, honor, and reputation. It is Thallens choice to have guilds that are that way, and my disagreement with the matter doesn't mean it should be against the rules. However, this is why the guild quality of guilds for Thallen is a joke. My experience of "non hat guilds" on classic has been mostly a good one. Especially when it came to my own guild, I created a level of respect everybody upheld and I actually viewed my members as friends rather than people I command. It was awesome. Immense trust in which i could give leadership to most of the perms and they would be responsible with it until I could take it again. So many inside jokes..
