The lead designer for MP did tweet that weapons across the board will be changed. He is looking at nerfing the shotgun dmg(way to OP) and adding recoil to guns like M16, AKS74, etc. But yeah, the M16 is literally a laser gun. Mechanic is very fun imo. First time I really enjoyed an engineer class in BF. Putting sabtoages on hotwire vehicles only for the enemy to take and get blown up is so satisfying and funny. Really can't wait till the release date.
