Spar Tournament

This idea is for an automatic spar tournament that registers players via grabbing a blackboard or whatever. The tournament registers about 18 people. And, there could be custom tournaments too, but that's another idea.

Every time you win a match, you win gralats. Or the game counts your wins and pays you all at the same time depending on number of wins. The winnings would be the same for every win; a flat rate. So say player wins one match. He gains 40 gralats. Player wins 3 matches. He gains 120 gralats. 40 X number of wins. This would be fair, even for those with better skills and weapons. This way it's fun for learners and veterans.

Winners

The winner of the spar tournament would simply receive double gralats of the matches he or she won. and maybe there could be a statue to the winner or a title. Just throwing out ideas.

Additional Comments

Each tournament in general is turn based per arena. If you didn't register, you have to wait for the next tournament. Or go to another arena.

Yes. It is. Except instead of repititious battles, everyone gets to spar each other and there is one supreme winner.

You can still spar everyone if you join the spar queue at the right time.  

I just think tournaments are more structured.  

Don't worry; there is a GST in the works.  

A spar tourney where everyone pays say 100 gralat entry fee or more, and the winner gets say 75% of the winnings and 2nd place gets 25%, would be pretty cool imo. Too large to be used as a trading system, but a pretty fun activity.

Interesting. I like the entrance fee.  

What about betting? Perhaps if u didnt enterthe tournament u can bet on people....but then thats somonewhat like gambling......

The staff said specifically that they don't want to teach kids to gamble.
