Do you have enough lighting in your room in the morning? When it's too bright outside and I let light into my room I have more difficulty wanting to sleep in.

There are alarms that are 3D puzzles (usually cubes) that explode when the alarm goes off, and force you to reassemble them before the alarm stops. Figured it would be useful. Always see these things in SkyMall magazines.

This too, bright environments are essential to waking up effectively. Also get apps that have "smart alarms" which detect your sleeping state via motion and awake you during light non-REM sleep which I've found works pretty damn well.

Are there actual apps like that, that'd really help me sometimes. Also does it detect even the slightest of light because sometimes it can still be dark out but be morning

Same this happens to me, But i manage to wake up after 5 minutes.

I keep my phone on vibrate, and put it in my pocket. Scares the **** out of me every morning.

so if you have to be up by 7am start the alarms around 6:20-30.

Luckily I am one of those weird people who only need 4-5 hours of sleep to function perfectly well so my body wakes up around 6AM every day which means I don't need to go through all this alarm trouble
