Renegade1337 - For colors, I don't use a palette; however I do practice hue shifting, a technique I learned through pixel art. Don't know if you're familiar with it, but it's basically when you change the color itself, but not the value/shade-- and then move the shade in a suitable lightness/darkness range for whatever you're shading. Hope that kinda makes sense; google might be able to explain it better For my brush, I actually use a regular circle brush for most things. It's very controlled and I feel more comfortable managing painting with it. I do have texturized brushes (you can see them used in the background kinda) but I don't really know how to use them yet xD so for most things, just my circle brush. It's not actually on 80-90% opacity, the opacity varies upon my pen pressure (I use a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet). If I press hard, it's 100%; but if not, it goes lighter. these are my settings: Spoiler

u got intuos??? do u like --- god these images are huge, so im not going to do the IMG code for them sketch of a gw2 human character sketch of another character, except it'll be painted(soon(TM)) yeah, been doing gw2 commissions; pretty fun, armor is a cool challenge EDIT: OH I FINISHED THE PIC I POSTED EARLIER kinda, i wanted to move on to do the commissions i had gotten so i kinda stopped early Spoiler
