Look, im getting really ****in tired of people saying zone is like era because it is NOTHING Like era, its almost as bad as cod to battlefield. If you tried to play zone like you did era, youre not going to have fun on zone. Im ok with trading items because it adds in more stuff to do and you can get things you never could get. But i am with cookie on this on about zone being a competitive server. Because it is still somewhat competitive and can easily be made incredibly skill based if weapons were properly balanced. Im getting really tired of seeing nothing but god damn rippers in bases and SEEING HOW GEMINI IS STILL NOT ****ING FIXED AND THAT WOULD BE THE MOST COMPETITIVE BASE. I wish they would make spring and CTF not squad based but an actual event.

This is because you're a filthy casual bruh. Zone to some was an actual server with skill and competition. This server is a horrible abomination that continues to take from Era. Tell me, what exaxtly sets Zone apart from Era? Aside from:

I could go into great detail on a few of these how they have tons of features that are 100% iZone. Now why don't you stop being so damn ignorant?

There's nothing to trade anyways..
There was no good REASON to put this in effect.
Stefan obviously wanted a second Era for double the profit.
Now all of the Era guys will play Zone too, or BOTH, and the original players will leave.

You guys screwed up.

Not aiming for a second iEra, no one on the Zone staff team is. But era has some damn good features that Zone could use, and that Era is gladly giving to us, so why waste it? Plus most of these features have been/are being updated to work more with Zone.

No one would play a second iEra, they'd play the first. Thats why we aren't going that direction.

People who said that obviously came from Era and have very little imagination. Hey, I wanted Trading. But using an exact replica of Era's trading system is just unoriginal. We are playing Zone for Zone, not for some knock off of Era.

My point is that trading is a very insignificant feature. And if you think iZone is a replica of iEra because it has the same trade system and some of the same jobs then I don't know what to say. There are tons of game series out there that use the same features between their games. Might as well complain that we have the same profile system as era too, and didn't make our own.

Not aiming for a second iEra, no one on the Zone staff team is. But era has some damn good features that Zone could use, and that Era is gladly giving to us, so why waste it? Plus most of these features have been/are being updated to work more with Zone.

Trading is a very significant feature, more significant than the original content you stated Zone has. I honestly couldn't care less at this point, like everything else, it'll blow over in a week. Original content is appreciated more than a copy, or a slightly edited version of something.

I believe we have a different opinion on what is significant content. In my opinion trading isn't even content, it is just a simple feature in the game.

Also trade tables now allow the trading of hats, "special" hats cannot be traded such as 1k Squad Hour hats and Pk Shop hats.

I'm assuming you've read nothing I've posted, haven't played zone for awhile, or are a troll.  

Not gonna lie it is'nt the whole idea of trade tables that would bother me, its the fact that you can trade guns which is so stupid

Actually that's wrong. Stefan is on the stafflist and he wants a second iEra. I remember him forcing the LATs (including myself) to make a Post-Aypocalyptic iEra. Then he called the map off like a idiot at the last minute.

Guns are used in zone way more than melees Melees in Zone are utter trash. They provide no bonus aside from the attack speed of a heroin junky with massive damage. Some might deflect bullets, but that's it.
Bomb spar Event, also taken from the old mini game server and characters replaced with bots.
Graphics Different texture for the same game

Still not much.  

As long as if there is an "open market" I'm ok, but We need some more planets and quests. Squad bases which involve boarding the other's ship and fighting through it's various passageways, capturing spawn points as you progress, and reaching the core(flag). New species and customizeable ships. Have the space map use similar concept to valkoria's map. :0 Bringing concepts from the past and improving upon them, but also introducing new content as well. "Zone Super Smash" is what I hope will come. :3

I remember working on this, we were given a copy of the Era gmap to completely base the post-apocalyptic one off. I'm glad it was called off though.

It's a hell of a lot easier to list differences than similarities when comparing any server with another. I don't dislike trading, it doesn't bother me that much. It's just the fact that so many ideas and features from iEra are being used on iZone, one or two would be fine but there's a lot more than that.
