it needs to be based on who wins the most daily to keep sparring active

still convinced that the points system I posted would be the best, but either way the leaderboard would remain the same

if it was a daily wins leaderboard, I'm about 99% sure I'd almost always be #1 on the PC side and Sarah would be #1 on the iDevice side (and then everyone would rage and default to a new excuse and harass us about it)
maybe that sounds arrogant and biased to you guys but it's the truth

just find your own way to have fun while you spar is all you can do
unless FP4 was trolling me, they are apparently bringing back spar hats soon so maybe that will encourage more activity

Sparring in Classic is most certainly dead, i remember the good ol' days when sparring was competitive, and people would always try ti become the best. Now all i see when i visit Classic are sparers that wall, lag, delay, and would still consider themselves the best. I have seen these "pro" sparers boosting late at night, and those are some of the sparers you call the best, sparring in Classic is most certainly dead, nobody takes sparring as seriously as before and just do it for the wins, it isnt how it used to be before at all.

I've been sparring actively for the past year and never heard of an "Omni" in my life, but surely the Graalians forums will take these kind of people's words for it, and that's why this thread is totally useless

Delay is usually unavoidable so bashing on people because of it is kind pointless, these people sparring late at night might actually be sparring during their daytime. If you are sparring to be the best surely you want the most wins you can get.

To be the best you have to beat the best. Wins don't matter if you cant beat the other top sparrers. Take boxing for example, if you look at all the boxers that retired undefeated, none will be in the conversation of greatest of all time. Records don't mean anything, what counts is what people do inside the square circle against tough competition.

Ok. If your gonna start sparring competitively since the games release, you should keep on sparring competitively all the way through or else, people like me would think sparring is dead. Nobody said you had to spar competitively, I'm just telling you what most of the people would think.  

so rename this thread to "my opinion is that I don't like sparring anymore" instead of "sparring is dead" because that's all this thread has been about
