He was referring to the old drop system. Growtopia has been changed their trading system.

I bought as many valentine packs as I could with the money I had at that moment(only 39k) then sold 3/4 of my angels then bought more gem packs($40 worth) within a few days so I could get more angels for when the price skyrockets, atm, I only have like 11-13 hbows and I lost track because I have some clothes on mannequins. But I have a crap load of items thanks to valentines and now I'm rich

In the end, I spent over $55 worth of gems and earned 20k gems from farming
