I believe what is he is saying is that he doesn't like the large "x" shaped "blood" spot that flashes every time you attack with the scythe, and he would like the scythe to have a separate idle/moving ani which would show the scythe holstered on your player's back.

Having the scythe be "wearable on your back" actually is a cool idea that I think would add some extra aesthetic to the scythe. Not a necessary addition, but a cool idea regardless.
