Slice of life basically describes the realism of everyday life in art and animation. Often showing the best and worst point of life, and often being emotionally provoking.
It could be just as simple as a club enjoying everyday at school with not much meaning to it, to a big story on a person who has been traumatized and learning to recover in a realistic way.

This is a significantly better explanation than mine. Thanks for coming up with a short and much more accurate description of it. I'm terrible at putting my thoughts into words. I feel like I'm super creative and always have intelligent things to say, but when it comes to putting it into words I always fail.

First of all, Japan is NOT weird.

Second of all, America is heartburn and apple pie.

So if you got something negative against what we like, you done need to comment.

Back on topic... I've haven't been very open in terms of different Anime series and genres. So I spent the last week watching Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online. I was very satisfied with these series.

Although... I get this horribly depressing feeling after I finish watching each series... As if I never want the series to end... :,(

So just watch Shiki and Paranoia Agent. Theyre really good. Both have very intense psychological element.
