Real Farming
Hello all, recently I've wondered why there isn't real farming in Graal. I'm talking about growing vegetables and fruits with seeds, below is a list of things that I think could make this possible: -Seeds could be found in bushes or grass, similar to bombs, arrows, and gralats. (or they could be bought, priced according to how rare they are in the wild) -A quest could be done to gain a Hoe as a tool, or it could be an item that is purchased at the farming shop and has durability so it would have to be bought again when it is broken. -Our GFX admins could design the seeds, hoe, vines and other plant like things, needed -With the fruits and vegetables we grow we can make different types of foods that we can sell or keep for health regeneration. -If we can make food we could probably do it at home, so stoves could be made to do this, seeing as they would be more useful now the price would obviously have to be bumped up. -A shop would most likely have to be made so our leveling staff and NPC scripters could take care of that. -Possibly an area for farming could be bought so players still spend enough money for it to be worth it for the game. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them. |

I like the idea, but I doubt it's going to happen. Classic isn't really a 'farming' game (although gralat farming is a common concept lol).

Well the entire point of farming is for graalats and/or slimes. If here was their types of farming it would destroy the idea of it in the first place.

When I first heard about farming on Graal I thought it sounded like the coolest thing in the world. . . . If only it actually was .

A little gralat bush you could plant in your 'farm' and take care of; the better you took care of it, the bigger it would grow

Why farm vegetables to make gralats when I can just farm gralats? http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/101/781/Y0UJC.png (Unsupported image host) |

There's this game called "Harvest Moon" where you do that. It was on SNES I believe, and N64... not sure if it made it to the Wii... But Graal is a Legend Of Zelda fangame, not a harvest moon one. That being said, it would be neat to have some sort of (limited availability of course, through time limit or through value) item that progresses when you 'check up' on it... Something like a plant that grows or gives a small gralat reward once very 24 hours or something...? Something that has a visual progression that it goes through over time..? |
