in the last 20 posts, we've had some guy claim that my guild (Alumni) is named after the high school I went to
another guy hint towards his support of a belief where delayers and laggers are able to see and hit other players as if they aren't delaying or lagging
and then another guy claim that a consistent and high latency is not the sole cause of delay

sparring would surely be dead if those 3 people were active members of our spar community because wow
it's almost depressing to consider that sparring is so complicated to you guys

As I already mentioned I'm a lagger/delayer or whatever you want to call it. And yea, I see people moving most of the time, I don't freeze nor do they warp for me. Though I got called lagger by mostly everyone.

And PumaD actually said that a bad connection isn't the cause of delay everytime. He was pointing to the fake lagging/overusing the connection while sparring. I delay since my device got f***** up because of rain.

And I do see Goten spar a lot though he's on a noob account. Too bad that you're banned on PC servers else you would see PumaD spar too, he also spars on iClassic. I have more than 8000 spar matches, I guess you might call me an active sparrer too. I still believe you're a creepy idiot, sparring overlord Thallen S.

"fake lagging" and "overusing the connection" would give you a high latency, completely supporting what I said earlier

not banned on PC servers actually, I just haven't played them actively and for more than spurts of a week at a time since 2008 or 2009 because it's dead and boring
anything you've ever heard about me in regards to PC Graal is just chitchat because you're way too new and never played when I did

Guys, Thallen's been pretty right this entire time to be honest. These guys have been making points based on inaccurate generalizations that more experienced players know exist in the younger generation, and really you can't argue with someone who doesn't have a base to fall back on. They attach themselves to their assumption for the attack...

All these things people are saying about latency and delay and Thallen being banned... He's right about all of them. I don't like to take sides in arguments, but damn, there is no backbone on the other side. I mean if you understand how the game's code works and the order of the scripts in a situation, you would know that the "showlag" command is anot 100% reliable. It is almost always off your actual latency as seen by others, even before calculating their latency as well.

I think people just don't understand, so they have to prove to someone that they are right about something. You guys had this same conversation like 5 times already! I mean come on, wake up and knock it off. Everyone has rights and wrongs, so there is no reason to pick everyone apart for it. Jeeze, you people are insane.

Though wet or damp circuitry runs slower because a bit of the energy is being sapped by water (or I was told, I'm no electrician). That's not the wireless signal, but the entire device would suffer. Not much, and especially not after a long while after it got wet, but yeah a little.

HUSH, do not ever make a spar thread ever again.

These guys bicker too much about a game feature.  

What I am trying to say is that you don't need a high latency to delay, which you obviously don't get it at all. But that's not surprising judging by how you have to try bashing/insult certain people all the time.

I feel like every spar thread on these forums consist of me telling people to just quit caring too much (it's okay to care) about their statistics and reputation and enjoy sparring (because it's the community itself that "kills" sparring) and/or educating people on the mechanics of sparring, but it's like you guys refuse to listen and never learn
instead you get butthurt and tell me that I'm old, call me cocky (???), and bring up tidbits about my personal life as if it has any relevance to the conversation or affects me in any way (some kid earlier hinted that my last name is Snyder, OH GOD)

I think what he's say is that certain clients can "blink" a lot longer than others. When I get hit, I stop blinking after only a few steps and can be hit again. then today i sparred someone who could around the arena before he stopped blinking. (and of course complained that i had to "run" to beat him)  

I think somebody needs to call in fire fighter Jeffery to put out this flame war.
