I did realize that. I just thought they could advertise it,and see if they could get people to volunteer. I would think some would do it for fun because they enjoy it and besides it would be great experience and something they could add to there resume if they where looking to get into a game development field.

I have played games where you make your own rpg game (rpg maker) Idk if that is similar to what Dusty does or not but I thought it might be some what the same. You make levels,add npc's,write their dialog,set their movements,add objects,edit how your character interacts with things,set triggers(things that you would do to start quests/events/add items to inventory,ect.) When Dusty talks about fixing the game script I'm not sure if he is talking about stuff like that or actual coding I have know clue on how to do coding. If I knew exactly what writing script was and how do to it I would.

RPG maker uses a lot of pre defined scripts. Most of what developers do on Graal is actual coding. There are tutorials written up by people on how to learn to script for Graal if you are really interested in learning.

that's basically grinding, grinding is never fun....

Grinding is great! Here's a list of why grinding is fun:
1. It gives you Radical points in Sonic Adventure 2
2. It gives you braces that you can customize
3. Déjà vu lets you re-do what you have done wrong
4.Grind Dancing is fun!!!
5. Soap Shoes are awesome
6. It's a faster way of transportation
7. The Lunar Sanctum level was amazing
8. You can gain more items
9. Grind was a great movie!!!
10. Without grinding, all of our systems wouldn't work because of all the static gears

graphic staff is pretty much all iClassic has as far as development goes.

That's pretty sad. Why is this? Why does nobody want to script for iClassic?
Other servers seem to have no problem picking up at least 2-3 scripters.  

There used to be "Maker" style stuff for graal, but they stopped using it some time ago, from what I heard...

As to new content - can't wait to see it all come together, but I imagine that it would be best to have re-usable quests rather than stuff like the towel (what do i do with this? wipe my *ahem* nose?)

That being said, there are a lot of things seemingly on the brink of being dropped into game - BC Crane Game, for example?

That's pretty sad. Why is this? Why does nobody want to script for iClassic?
Other servers seem to have no problem picking up at least 2-3 scripters.

#1-Classic Staff probably give rewards for hats but nothing for scripting.
#2-Era has a really small map and scripters can be Hitlers and spawn 15 monster at the same place.
#3-Zone is kind of new and people will get seen much more since Zone hasn't falled for hats and their evil plan of controlling Graal.
#4-It's easier to make a hat then scripting.
#5-As a scripter you'll need to make scripts for the 1 trillion hats, the 1 thousand mounts, the upload system, the 25 bodies in the small shop, and all those hats shops. Seems reeeeally fun....
#6-They don't tell which scripters made the new area or scripted the new area.
#7-Hats Makers... I mean iClassic Graphic Staff, get thank you for making hats and are loved by Classics Players... Scripters don't...
#8-They don't ask for scripters but for Hats Makers.

If you want more scripters...
Then try to make it fun for them too!
None actually remember their names... But everyone will remember the ones who made a event for a hat! If you give them a part of merit by I don't know telling their names in News when a new shop/area/quest appear written in underlined(sorry if it's not how you write it) the ones who just want to be popular and I don't know much more popular? gets to have their name in News when a new area get added they'll probably want to learn how to script only for that! Many people don't even know scripters because they are at the end of the list of active admins...

I suddenly feel like I'm no longer the worst poster on threads in the forums.

On the serious side I do kinda agree with #7 that every one knows who the other admins are and they get all the glory for running events and feeding the hat hungry mob. However, I'm sure they are constantly bothered with butt kissers and non stop pms to run an event. And get accused of abusing their powers by helping their friends or their guild? Sounds fun to m.

Did you ever stop to think maybe the scripters enjoy creating things and seeing thousands of other people using and enjoying what they created and that itself is its own reward? I think I would rather be a scripter and get none of the Fame or glory and none of the harassment from hat chasers.
