King of The Hill Suggestion/Improvement Topic

Over a discussion on a certain topic, i just felt like this was the right thing to do. There are some-most people that may not like King of the Hill for a particular reason.However, There has been guilds who still take guild forts with King of the Hill and they still catch up to 1000 hours and claim their hats. I don't see why people complain about it but honestly, i don't think that there are guilds thats not trying (just my opinion).

Maybe the feel on taking guild forts is not the same... Maybe Castle and Snow's difficulty for some guilds have been bumped up... Idk but in the majority of what we're seeing so far, people like it... and it hasn't past a year... So take time to get used to it...

So First Heres a few suggestions you can feedback if you want to:
-Have Castle's defenders respawn at the fountain or the bottom of the castle
-Have Snow's defenders respawn at the middle of the entrance room
-Have Castle/Snow excluded from King of The Hill
-Maybe add a tower exclusively to King of The Hill (and the others excluded)
-Any other suggestion that improves King of The Hill

Now we're gonna see on the majority of KotH on this forum. So along with any suggestions or improvements you would like to post in this topic, im going to post a public poll to see if it should stay or not.

Also, please talk honestly to your free will if you have any problems,suggestions,improvements or questions regarding this subject. I will stay out of this topic but ill be on weekly to see the results. Thank you and have a good day

I kind of want it removed because I just like classic towers even though I'm not much of a tower person myself. Snowtown wasn't a good choice for a place to put king of the hill in my opinion. It's not very populated there.

Last night I was busy defending castle, with Skitz and Froggy, and some others, but at various times it was limited to just two people vs 3 or so PKers (good pkers. Like, mau5). Anyway, I don't hate it as much as I must come across

I think your suggestions about the spawn points are very good. Another thing I can think of is that if there is 10 attackers and 1 defender the flag should go down faster than if there was 5 attackers and 4 defenders, and vice versa for defending. One thing I've noticed about KotH that I actually like is the fact that when there's one defender and one attacker the flag still heals itself. Don't change that.

I think MoD is the best choice for KotH to be at as well. If it were to be moved there, please for the love of god remove it from Castle. They picked Castle and Snow because they're big and open, like Gsparring. I think MoD would be a better choice because you have the bottleneck, so you can use your numbers to keep them away from the flag. Also, that goddamn door glitch x.x

Plus, it's an incredibly crowded fort. Also if the top of mod was big like Castle or Snow, it wouldn't work with the bottleneck, so if a KotH exclusive fort is made (or released..), either like castle and snow, big with no bottleneck, or like mod Small with several points of defense.

i completely disagree with the fact that mod should be a KoTH fort D: MoD is one of the funnest forts to hold with low numbers and i don't want that changed.

as to making a new KoTH tower, i think it's a good idea. or at the very least, remove Koth from either snow or castle so that there is still the unique type of open-spar-defensive tower without KotH.

I don't see how it's a bad idea I think it's perfect as is no changes really have to be made to it.

If you really think about it,It's a lot more fun instead of having your guild go and slash at the flag for god knows how long you could go in there and pk the crap out of everyone in there and take over.

This will probably call a lot more attention for PKers and for PKing guilds.

I see a lot of complaints about "noob recruits", and how a larger guild would win automatically. I think that if the guild is good enough at pk, it could take the tower despite lower numbers. Same with noob recruiting, the "noobs" Could be killed easily, and then the tower is easier to take. I like the towers, and if anything, I agree that it should be moved from Castle to MoD. Then there would be two options for the kind of KotH for guilds; the "bottleneck" and the wide area.

Point is to keep KOTH with two of the biggest fort's Which in this case would be snow and the graal city castle,Moving this to MoD would be the biggest mistake cause it's too small of a fort.

Having KOTH in the biggest fort's is already challenging,Specially if you spawn all the way out of the castle.

I dont like KOTH, but if there planning on keeping it i think it could use with some improvements
I was as snow earlier today and it was just 1 defender and 1 attacker (me) and it was basically impossible for me to get it because when we were both at the flag room the flag would go up and stay up till i killed her i think maybe that could be improved...somehow lmao

Everyone's opinion matters.. If he thinks its perfect, then he can choose the "Yes. Its perfect as is" option. This is why i opened up a poll.. To see if king of the hill should stay or not according to everyone's honest opinion. Heres the results so far:

According to a 9-5 vote, it seems as if King of the Hill is going to stay. We'll have to see till the end of the week.
