This isnt fair for lots of newcomers... 1.Guilds like SON and Chain of Memories are basically made of friends that play daily 2. Guilds that are recruiting have no people that are loyal 3. Whats wrong with this topic? Did u have a hatchaser in your guild :/ 4. People who agreed are obviously part of one of those guilds... -In the end its all about you |

I have thought about this myself. I have chosen not to suggest this because from my point of view; the same guilds would be top 3 over and over. Now that's one problem, but if you want to start up a new guild, you have to be ready within the first few days of a new season. (If you are aiming for the top 3). If you are looking to be rewarded for your work it would look much more appealing to join an already established guild, rather than joining a new one. You might aswell join the guild that has been on the top 3 the last X amount of seasons, at least you are likely to get something back for the hours you spend attacking and defending the forts. Now that's my opinion. I also see people wanting to remove the 1k fort hats, which I don't think is a good idea either. There are other ways of preventing people from making guilds going to 1k then join a new one, and so on ... . Something I would like to suggest concerning a change to the 1k hat chasing. Make a restriction where a player may only receive a 1k hat once every half or quarter year. I.E. 6 or 3 months after they received their last 1k OR 5k hat. In order for this to work out properly, only identified accounts should be eligible to receive guild hats. This prevent the hats to be given to a non identified account and then transferred onto the identified one. (They would have separated timers for receiving the 1k hat). The ones who only want to take fort for hats will now either have to continue with the guild; maybe going for another hat at 5k. Or they may wait 3-4 months before they start up a new guild. This will make it easier for other players to start up their guilds with new players who have not received a 1k hat the last 6 months. If they choose to continue, we will see more guilds reaching further than 1k before they quit. Which I think would be really nice. Now this should also count for the 5k hat so people don't join in with their friends guild that has passed 4k hours and take a hat instead of someone who has worked since maybe 2-3k fort hours. I know this may be too long for most to read, so I will sum it all up in a few lines: - I don't like the idea of seasonal hats, it will make it hard to start up new guilds IMO. - Restrict players from receiving fort hats more often than 3 or 6 months after they received their last fort hat. Please give opinions if you bothered reading my whole comment. |

I all ready said I disagree with seasonal rewards. I also came up with a similar idea in another thread about putting time restrictions on milestone reward (1k)hats. Imo that maybe the only way to keep people more "honest" with the way the current towering system is set up. There are to many hat chasers that jump in guilds in the last 100-200 hours trying to slide in on the hat list. The only fear I have is that it may take away interest in towering. If ppl cant get the reward then why bother to tower at all? |
