Squad reward
I'm making this thread today because of, well you all already know, hat chasers. Most of you may know, iClassic is home to many hat chasing guilds. If you do not know what hat chasing is, let me explain to you. Hat chasing is when a guild/squad/gang get together a group of players/friends and take a base or tower until they reach 1k. Once they reach 1k, they start up a new squad or gang and do it all over again. They can do this as much as they want and there is no limit. I'm starting to see hat chasing on iZone and to be honest I'm afraid it will turn out like iClassic. So my idea is to make squad rewards only for the first 25-50 squads. Once these numbers have been reached, no prize should be given out. Except for a weekly gralats payout for the top three squads of the week. These payout will be delivered to the squad itself. On the squad page it should have something like Squad cash:884394 (example). The leader and only the leader may distribute the cash or may I say authorize it for the people who helped. Squad leader can add cash to a member manually or have it added automatically by checking an option on the player power rights page (this is where you manage recruit, kick, news etc.). The leader of the squad cannot add all the money to himself and it must be divided. If the money is not distributed within a week. The cash will be taken away. The squad must also pay a monthly of 5000 gralats to have it registrated for squad hours or else the squad won't be able to take any bases and gain hours. The squad can also have a squad safe to use and store their cash. Members can choose to contribute and add gralats to the safe which the leader can use only to purchase and decorate the squad house. These are different from the iEra gang house and iClassic guild house. This will actually be a squad house accessible by only being in the squad (the option should be located on the squad page). The leader may design the squad house as well as the members. They can add their own room (an extra level) which will cost 5000 and they can decorate it. But in return they would also have to pay a monthly due like 250 gralats. The leader has all rights to revoke a member's access from the squad house for any reason. The leader can delete a member's room but may not have access to decorating it. Well these were just an idea I had in mind. Please let me know what you think below. And if you got any suggestion or add-ons please feel free to share. NOTE: All the prizes, payout, monthly payment may varies. These are just examples and it may change in the future (if this is implemented). |

I don't understand the hate on "hat chasing guilds" if you're willing to devote 1000 hours on keeping a tower just for a small custom on your head then you deserve it really.

I like all the ideas, but the first 25-50 getting hats should be the first 25-50 each year.

Hat chasers shouldn't bother you; They work for their reward.

Who cares about hat chasing? Let them work their asses off for one free hat lmao, I'm not sure why you're all upset on the matter. And Classic's towering system is far from dead, so not sure what the problem here is exactly.

my opinion of "hat chasers" these people or players are one of the people that devote them self to game play I myself am a tower/baser and once I began towering on classic it became lyfe. basically I would be bored or would of quit graal with out the towering type systems. I have gotten a few guild hats some I have donated but once your are in a squad/guild for a hat the 1000 hours become more than that it becomes kinda like a family. don forget towering on classic is way harder than zone and takes about a month and a few weeks for 1k while zone is 2weeks lol

I've already noticed people stopping at 1k an starting up new squads. And everyone's squad news says "1k Squad coming soon" or something like that. It's kinda annoying how nobody is loyal to one squad. But I kinda understand why they are doing this. Maybe if you guys tell us what the 5k or 10k squa hour prize is, the squad wouldn't just end at 1k :/ |

The problem with hat chasing is they ruin the whole point of basing and earning a reward. Currently iZone you already know is easy to get a squad to 1k hours. Get your friends and put up a 1k hat and say 1k coming soon, mission complete. I don't see a point in rewarding a squad if everyone can just get 1k and move on. Hell by the second year of iZone I bet 100+ squads will have 1k hours. If the numbers were reduced this would encourage players to be loyal and actually try and reach the squad full potential instead of making it to 1k and leave. With all do respect I do not like the idea of hat chasing but if that's what you guys want to continue I'm fine with it. Please keep in mind, how are you going to like it when a random player uses your hat template and do a few minor changes? This happened many times on iClassic and nothing was done about it. I'm not %100 certain that iZone will allow this.
