What the **** is up with all these 'servers going to iOS', and plus, Atrius' graphics aren't all that bad, but those characters, gross.

They seem to be sure they're making it iOS, and they've been directly working with Stefan on going F2P, so I actually think Stefan may have already given the green light.

Graal can never be entirely F2P.

Also, this Atrius server is like, the 6th I've seen to pop up, not be popular, and announce multiplatform plans. I believe I know what is going to happen in the future due to emails sent between several managers of servers on both iOS and PC, and I can't really say much about it until it gets closer.

This "Atrius Server" had over 90 players at it's peak times years ago, this was when it was a gold-only server, meaning the playercount would have been higher if it was open to Classic accounts, so yeahhh

It has potential but I honestly cannot see it as been as popular as other ios servers.

I think you're making too many assumptions. Going F2P does not mean Stefan has allowed it to become an ios server. Eurocenter itself has to come to an agreement, It's not just Stefan.

I think all he was trying to say is that James has plans to make Atrius into a iOS/Facebook game, and that's it. It probably stemmed from this picture that was put on the Atrius FB page:

Alright Iam not a raging person or talk without thinking , so Atrius is practically (NOTE: from what Iv seen so far) that its more of a Era server with custom characters , atleast thats what Iv seen from what the server offers , (If you have information to prove me otherwise then be my guest) , now era has more decent tileset , Iam not gonna bash on the GFX work because Iv seen some decent "IMAGES" , and some quality lacking ones , all in all If this server gets to see the light of iOS then Its either going to make a new Tileset no slacking , or perhaps add some different concepts (not talking about the modern theme , iam talking something els different than PKING )

YAY!  

Maybe I'm biased, but every time I hear someone bash custom bodies, whether it be Zone, GK or Atrius, I just chuckle slightly and remember that the coolest thing to do years back was make awful, I mean completely awful heads and beg someone on Unholy Nation or Era to upload them, and the entire playercount was full of these completely ******ed looking characters that I assume were out of video games or anime? But they just looked so outrageously stupid that I just can't take anyone bashing a custom body-set seriously.

I logged on Facebook Classic a few weeks ago and saw a group of seemingly pre-teen boys talking about skylanders and "big boobeys". I don't think they're going to care about custom bodies, a bad tileset or the fact that the server was revived 20-something times. They just want skylanders and "big boobeys". Maybe James will see this and implement some "boobeys" into atrius, that's where the moneys at

Isn't this what all of Graal is? Find a quest, beg an ET to host an event, OR pk, rinse and repeat? Atrius had a lot of "revolutionary" systems that made the game more realistic, but kids aren't playing graal to have a realistic experience and see all this cool stuff; all the housing, food and job systems we introduced were too complicated for our playerbase that consisted of recent middle school graduates, in the end we scrapped everything and added 20 more guns that looked the same and we got cheers for it. Aeon had some of the nicest systems I've seen in years, I loved going on and playing around with the server, but in the end the playercount died out, because to advance far into the game and get some cool items, it was a complicated grind. People want to kill, get money and buy more guns that do the same exact ratio margin of damage so they can kill with those too.

Since being on the serverlist, I have not seen the server have more than 4 players on at a time. This just makes me assume that it wouldn't make a hugely popular landing onto the iOS platform. Years ago, maybe. But you keep saying "would have" and "it was". Not anymore, in my opinion.

What is iClassic then?

I paid for the app when it came out. There was no free version, it was P2P. Nowadays, you can play the server for free. However, there is also an issue with iClassic bringing in much less revenue than other servers due to this. Also, not many people want to buy gralat packs for hats, like iEra reels in players for expensive guns. Bit of a coincidence that the only server reminiscent of F2P has these issues. Knowing this, Graal itself will never be completely F2P. In other words, not all servers will be F2P. They just can't.  

You may hate customs body's/heads but at the end of the day people spend money buying gralat packs to afford them, obviously Stefan likes them.

Also I don't think the server has differentiated itself enough from era, just having different graphics does not make the server completely different. If I was playing era and a similar server which was of a better quality in pretty much every way.

In my opinion default characters look better.
