Why Can't iPods Zoom Out?

A long time ago iClassic added the option to zoom out on iPod/iPhone by pinching, so that you can see further away. iEra has yet to add this option, may I ask why? It's even more important on iEra than it is on iClassic, since you need to be able to see bullets flying far away to have a decent amount of time to react and see enemies further away. I feel like this feature being ported is mandatory.

As it stands now iPad players have a huge advantage over iPod players, since they can see enemies far away to shoot at and have plenty of time to dodge bullets. adding this feature would even the playing field and make the game more enjoyable for iPod/iPhone players.

Because they lack the amount of pixels that the more recent devices have. Zooming out takes advantage of the extra pixels to display more on screen. The game zoomed in is just being upscaled on more recent devices hence why it's blurry. But yes you are correct

As stated above iPod 3G and lower can't zoom out as they lack Retina Display. Someone needs an iPod upgrade.

The 4G iPod is a bit fiddly when zooming out. It sometimes wants to, but sometimes doesn't.

The 4G iPod is a bit fiddly when zooming out. It sometimes wants to, but sometimes doesn't.

Plus I'm pretty sure it needs iOS 6 or higher to zoom out, so if you haven't ever updated, that could be why as well.
