What I don't like is that it's been ruined since that Socialist ass Nasser took over and promoted his stupid Pan Arabism ideology and started the Anti Israel propaganda that got us into a lot of trouble and I think we were better under a constitutional monarchy. Also I never cared about Mubarak because at least there was security and NOT POWER OUTAGES EVERY DAY AND NOT A GAS AND WATER PROBLEM. Also I don't like that the president is a goddamn idiot. I do however support Egyptian nationalism but I am against the Arab countries especially Qatar for various reasons. Also overpopulation.
I like that my country is realizing its mistake and is turning on the Islamist ***** that are ruining this country. Babylon, Egypt, Syria and Persia were once the greatest civilizations and look what they've become. Also I like that while I'm traveling people ask me where I'm from and i answer and continue the conversation can from small talk to serious. It's late and i might contribute more if this doesn't get buried.  

I live in Britain and yeah, I do like my country. I think this is mainly because I don't think it takes itself too seriously.

The weather is generally forecast for rain or wind and that's something which I don't mind. I actually drink more tea than most people do, but that's because I'm addicted, not due to the country that I'm in. Now that we've got the sterotypes over... UK politics are like an arcane pantomime in the way that they are executed. As someone on the outside, I don't know how they believe it is acceptable. You need to live in a certain area, be educated in a specific University and (more often than not) have family social connections to get involved in the circus. For this reason, I don't really care for it. Moreover, we are not plagued with dramatic conspiracy theories that demand interest unlike other countries. One of the things I like most about Britain, and the United Kingdom in general, is that culture and heritage appear to hold a greater importance to society than religion does. I have never felt as though the country or its people are ruled by religion, unlike in the East and even the United States. There is obviously degrees of intolerance, but I believe that generally there is an apathy within the society as a whole when it comes to beliefs.

David Cameron Slags our soldiers of by cutting there pay and reducing the amount of soldiers fighting for our country and that they get paid less than a footballer when they have there lives on the line.

About a month ago 2 Nigerian Muslims ran over a British soldier and stabbed him repeatedly and tried to behead him in broad day light in Woolwich.  

I live in jolly ol britain and i used too like it but this year my god this country has gone down the pan. Now i read alot of news proberly about 2 hours a day not too mention twitter. But anyway britain is getting slowly turned into a police state with how you can hardly say anything now or you get arrested, the retared justice system (i like americas alot more i mean one time some guy got jailed for 4 years in britain for killing 4 people in a car accident A YEAR FOR EACH PERSON) the stupid councils whch run evry district will fine and contest you over the most stupidest things ever, labor nuff said, the recent attacks against anybody from the middle east across the conutry and david cameron and nick clegg (bunch of right pilliocks)

I understand your frustration with the footballer and soldier thing, because I used to hate that too. It's a hard subject, but if you think logically it goes like this: anyone can become a soldier if they have the will and determination to. But not anyone can become a professional footballer. Imagine if soldiers got payed more than footballers, the chances are that most people would then want to become a soldier. Good Footballers are harder to get than soldiers, and in England and most other countries, football is a very largely enjoyed sport for many people, so imagine all the money the players get from every supporter buying a £100+ ticket to a football game. It really is a hard subject

They can become British but there not actually British there from the Middle East man plenty of em. If I was born in North Korea does that make me North Korean? no, I would stick out like a sore thumb amongst a crowd of Koreans worshipping Mr Kim.

idk about my country but I love my Cali state. Orange county weather is nice almost all year and we got girls of all flavors.  

I go to England regularly for a month every year in the summer vacation and life is so simple and nice there.  

I don't like people in general.
However I can't imagine living anywhere else other than the United States. I like it here.
