I was just wondering If you guys could add a set time limit before an event starts so people have time to get there. Im asking this because theres a lot of people left behind in the events lobby due to staff rushing and they start so fast that this happens (pic below)

.... thats a picture of 10 people who missed the event if you didnt notice. Everytime i confront someone about this problem i get ignored and i dont see anyone else saying anything and i dont know why but im lucky i took this pic so i can show u how ridiculous events r sometimes.

A timer would be easy to script, but I seriously doubt we need one. I'll inform the GPs to do this (and all of the other hosters).

The staff are suppose to give a minimum of 2 minutes before hosting the event. I will get a start timer added to each of the lobbies. Will have it set so when the staff say /start the timer counts down and once it is finished everyone will be warped. If staff are not giving at least 2 minutes after the announcement please let one of the higher staff members or myself know and we will deal with it.

I get annoyed because a few staff members almost ALWAYS start right after I click 'yes' on the automated events...

Minimum of 2 minutes? Huh.. I always did 30 seconds.

Hense the reason why players never made it to the event.

The change has been implemented at around Midnight (EST). When a staff member says
'/start' in the warper, a 2 minute countdown will start which is visible to players. This cannot be overridden by normal staff.

Yah its up and going now. It makes us wait 2 minutes and some people dont like it but at least no one gets left behind.
