Minecraft Error

So , a few hours ago , when I tried opening minecraft , an Error popped up saying : could not run Java Virtual Machine. I tried over and over and re opened my laptop. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Try downloading the latest version of Java, maybe?

I have tried that and when i installed, it says installing the installer and i can't find the installer in the java folder nor the downloads.

Maybe try a force update.

Just remove all your Java stuff in add or remove programs. Then, you can download the latest version here.
