Merge iZone and iEra?
If iZone shows no signs of progress in the near future I think we could consider it a failure. Its the same thing as iEra. There is nothing to attract players who are already established in iEra to play iZone. Move all the iZone gmaps to the iEra server. Make all the iZone content available to iEra players. Merge the stats and purchases. Without the burden of downloading a separate app, reuploading and paging for customs, losing all stats, iEra players might actually play the content on iZone. |

That was the first idea of izone.. I feel for the staff team, Stefan basicly left them with a server that has not much to offer and no updates to go off while working on other stuff aswell, so now they a basicly trying to make completely new and stock up on updates when possible while also releasing the odd updates inbetween all that.

They would need to have some form of compensation to the people who purchased Zone.

Why can't you give iZone some time? I think the staff are working on some big updates (new tileset yay), andthey can't do that in a day.

That'd work, actually. As for compensation to iZone players, how about this: iZone purchasers get a special weapon once the merge is complete upon merging their zone and era accounts. |

iZone has no intention nor desire to attract iEra players. iEra and iZone are two completely different animals. The only similarity is that they both have guns. The systems, theme, and direction are entirely different. You might as well question why on Earth Grand Theft Auto and Halo are different games. They're the same thing, right? |

It's just a bad idea with very little sensible backing. It's easy to shoot down and difficult to defend. Despite that, let's keep the ball rolling. Why is this not a bad suggestion? How are Era and Zone the same thing? Why should "gangster mafia" be merged with "futuristic space shooter"? How can you possibly find the PK system - four directions versus eight directions - comparable? Can the developers of two entirely independent entities wholly agree on one direction for development? It's a bad idea. Defend it. Your turn, shoot. EDIT: Response to Nabu
Linkin Park and JayZ risked their fanbase by collaborating. Some liked it, some hated it. Do you think loyal JayZ fans would appreciate if he made nothing but LPJZ collaborations? |

Tbh, im kind of happy with the 100 players so far. Yeah it's nowhere near as large as iEra or iClassic's playerbase but taking into consideration that these two servers have had atleast 2 years to build a loyal playerbase, the fact Zone was underdeveloped when it was released (in my opinion) and that when Matt left Zone had approximately 30 - 50 players a day, 100 players is good enough for me right now. Plus, the updates that are continuously in development and the new management is sure to push the playercount further.
