Eras views on Racism...
Alright, I think I've had just enough of this. Racism. We've all probably been through this in game. Every single day, racism is used as a 'comeback' for us players. It's just so stupid, yet nothing is done about it. We have a 'report system' put in place, but why is it that whenever I actually do report someone regarding racism, or even harassment, nothing is ever done. Instead of being an immature person and fighting back racism with racism, I always walk away as the bigger man and report the person instead. But what's the point when the reports aren't even going to be considered. I've reported atleast 20 people this week, alongside PMs to staff regarding racial abuse that has either occurred to me, or a fellow player, and not one of them have been jailed/punished. So I ask you staff, what are your views on racism and harassment? |

they're either too lazy to do anything about it, or they don't think its an issue worth acting upon, either way its wrong.

Era is a 9+ game. What good are 9 year olds learning in a game where racism has reached to such an extent. I believe harsh punishments should be given to the people with such dirty mouths. First of all, racial abuse reports need to be taken seriously and to be acted upon as soon as possible. The punishments shouldn't just be a gag, but a possible jail time of starting from even 30 minutes, as they will realise it is wrong, and will learn there lesson.

I agree.
When I was PR I always gagged the racist player and if they continued they got jailed for 30 mins. But after I took these actions a few times I was reported for "abuse" of power. When in reality I was just doing my job. So in the new PR defense they probably are scared to act, you can always get reported and boom fired.

Really, if you guys are having a problem about racism, just pm Rufus. He's a great admin and he will come and back you up if you are losing in a comeback contest

I don't see why a certain staff was hired as gani, seeing how she was being racist to an AFK player. Reported and nothing...and was later hired, really?
