lol, record a "flawless" spar against someone that doesn't look like a total noob.
the shield thing is cool, maybe do that shield % thing each time you hit but dont freeze it, maybe at the final hit make it more climactic then the other hits.

and different music....

as for the technical editing I cant help you much, maybe Pimpsy can :0

only a matter of time before we get "sparring montages" (cod montages lol)

If I don't freeze it, it will look messy, the shield thing is actually a movie clip.

first of all thats not a noob thats Zidane from the looks of it and did u really spend over 600$ for sony vegas or cracked?

I use After Effects CS4. I'll try to upload a video this week of me blowing up the entire map of Graal Classic iPhone lulz

There's more to video editing than just using a program.

Take a lot more footage so you actually have clips to work with.

You also doubled the length of your video with a couple effects and didn't really show the aftermath of the final hit. They should be used to make your content stick out and help the flow of the video not used as content.

Completely agree, I just wanted to firstly learn how to resize the video to remove the crap in the facebook window, and learn how to do effects. I will obviouslly get some better clips, maybe some comebacks and flawless spars for the final product.

take more footage.
It's really good for the first time.
But you should fix your transition between the sparring and the clip with analyzing the shield.
Like adding a smooth pan/crop transition between the clips.
Also, i guess you used Chroma key for the shield analyzing thingy?
Fix the transparant of it, it's kinda blurry.
But overall it's great for the first time :>

I use Sony Vegas. I'm still a beginner at it though. Rendering takes hours T.T....You should try playing with font effects 0:! It's pretty fun ^_^. And it'd probably help you learn how to do other video effects too.
