I'm pretty sure it's something in your iTunes/AppStore app itself that's corrupted. An update won't fix anything, as it doesn't patch anything relative to this. The only solution that I can think of is to restore your device to an earlier time. |

Edit: Since DragonRider is having the same problem, all of this is applicable to an iPhone, as well. |

Well, you could have mentioned it wasn't your WiFi. Some security and connection types like Wireless N and WPA 2 just don't cooperate with iDevices, even though these connections can be faster and more secure.

I've had the same problem but it got resolved a few days ago. I used the same connection so I don't believe it was anything on my side. It could have been something with the app store not letting us download apps at that time or some bug from the store itself. Everything works fine now and I hope it stays that way.
