Louisville vs Duke NCAA basketball Kevin Ware snaps his leg off after trying to block a 3pt shot. Watch him when he jumps for the block. You can see #3's reaction right after.
Was watching that live; had to run out of the room. That **** was horrifying. From what I heard he broke it in 2 spots with the bone popping out of the skin.
I was watching that game... I looked away for a second. I looked back to see everyone crying and they showed the replay; absolutely awful... I feel so bad for the guy, his career has gotta be over after that.
i play basketball myself and i was scared after i saw this. I pray to god this kid is okay. I hope that broken leg does not affect him severely in the future as a basketball player.

Word is(From what I've been reading on reddit) this type of injury isn't that bad. It can be repaired and healed. A joint injury is a lot worse as it's very hard for joints to properly heal fully.
Then again, it's a similar injury that ended Joe Theismann's career.

Yea, I heard that too, but the fact that he broke it that easily by just jumping to contest a shot, and maybe landing awkwardly, makes me think that there must be something wrong and he won't be playing again.
