With the new league system, its easy as ever to climb. If your MMR is decent, going 1-1 will earn you about 6 points, resulting in a steady incline.

Then you get to ~70 LP and start getting 1 LP for winning and lose 15 for losing.

So I finally hit silver... Won my 3rd game of a series when it was 2-2, I was a complete jerk at the start but our vi kept me calm and played great and helped me snowball lane, now I'm just waiting for the league system to update.

Renekton is more OP, his laning is insane and the only thing that used to hold him back is that there were no good items for him. Now we have the Black cleaver, so season 3 made him mad OP since his laning is incredibly broken, and he scales well into late too being able to buy a Black cleaver then build tanky.

IMO on most Ad casters it's just best to rush a brutalizer and hold onto it and get other stuff after, the upgrade is too expensive for what it provides. I probably wouldn't get the bc until later on, once I have my full build or if the enemy is stacking armor.

The black cleaver, alongside the armor penetration changes, gave ad casters much more late game presence since they have better items to purchase. Previously champions like renekton would have to just built tanky besides a LW, and do very little in fights.

The reason the BC seems like a bad item now is because everyone is proactively stacking health now, assuming the enemy will build armor penetration, thus making armor useless. With little armor being shreded(it's a %), the effect from it is minimal.
