The funny part is even though wii u loses aganist ps3 and xbox, it's supposed to compete aganist ps4 and xbox 720, not last gen consoles.

Its not even competing with them at this point. The Wii U, Wii, Gamecube, and N64 have all been essentially VIP passes to nintendo first party games.

I recall everyone and their grandma buying one until everyone realized it was just a crappy Christmas gift nobody wants to play with after a month.

I would say 3DS because the titles are far superior imo

Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Zelda, etc.
