Instant million, but lol @ anyone who thinks you'd be "set for life." Could you be financially comfortable? Average American income is apparently around $50,000 or so; this is equivalent to working for about 20 years(I hope you plan on living longer than that). Even with a crappy salary it's around 30 years. A million dollars can go a long way, but only if you were smart and careful with it. Honestly, if I got a million dollars I would settle down in an average house and then find a nice job that I'd enjoy. I don't care about how much I got paid as long as it was enjoyable. Any amount of income would help to at least keep that million dollars going a little bit longer. Possibly invest some but not sure. The goal here would be to live life knowing I can make a choice, rather than the forced path many people have to take in order to get day-by-day(I have to take my bosses ****, or I have to deal with a mind-numbing job, or horrible customers becuase I can't afford to lose my job). |
