for the eyes you should make it half transparent. then you can see the eyes behind it but the black is still there. I like blue better lol so I made it blue.

Did a quick edit of your helmet too Ryan. ![]() Just some tips: -When doing your lineart, be sure to keep everything smooth and rounded. You do not want jaggies. ![]() -Shading from the outside in is never a good thing (especially with such high contrast) -Dithering can often ruin a piece and should be done in moderation for small sprites -Decide on a light source before you start (I use top left) and visualize where light would hit and where shadows would fall. -Colour can transform a sprite. Choose colors that are easy on your eyes, and that match well with the other colors on your hat. -Grey looks much better if it is more tinted towards blue or red (in my opinion) -The whole hat doesnt have to be surrounded in black outlines, use value to show the difference between parts. |

This is a hat I made for the hat competition on Izone, but I didn't really like how it looked too big for the head.. Any critiques would help a lot Also theirs a head I made for fun and was trying to go with the white shading look, but it didn't really work out... Thanks

Hello Nituco. Your graphic is very tiny, so there is little for me to work with/edit. However, given the space I introduced two things. Shades: You had only one shade per color, this makes the image look bland and boring. Outline: Your outline was very jagged and hard to follow, most lollipops are very circular. ![]() Hopefully you can see the difference between the two. Keep practicing!
Love the edit, nice work furry. |

It's body looks sorta like a fat, awkward sausage...Please don't take this rudely. Try giving it a fatter belly, and a less rounded bottom. Also, get rid of that neck fat you have going on there and try giving it a more angular head. |
