Oh nice one, I'm still filling out the form but currently it says i've got an "Above Average" chance of being accepted if that actually means anything.
I'm really hoping they pull this game off well, GW2 wasn't exactly a good game in terms of longevity.

Its not an open beta. An open beta is where you sign up and you automatically get in, this is a closed beta. A VERY closed beta. Btw i have an excellent chance of rating it.

It's a closed beta, not an open beta. There's an NDA, and all kinds of stuff. Very few will get in. it sounds like most of the people that will get in are those in the press/gaming industry.

They verify your name/age so don't try to lie about your name or age, you won't get in.

Keep in mind that because there's an NDA, if you get in you wont be able to discuss stuff in game on here.
