As far as I can tell it's not broken. Try looking up youtube for videos on putting keys back on whatever brand laptop you have.

I just have to press the " nose" (middle) of the key, and it registers.

Also, fixed it by snapping everything back into place then sliding the rubber under the key

Lol yep, Acer is cheap of course the thing is going to fall apart.
If you're going to buy from a Taiwanese company go with ASUS.

Anyways, you'll have to buy a whole new keyboard and install it yourself (cheaper but you could mess up) or by a professional which would cost probably a little more than $100 (price of keyboard and labor)

i have an acer and its quality isnt at all bad

my brother uses his acer laptop as his daily computer (aka uses it hard) and it hasn't broken yet.

laptop keys pop out all the time, you just gotta snap them back in.
