Also, just would like to state the morano thompson is my favorite gun by far. I have all the "OP" guns and more than 85% of the "regular" guns, and thompson is a great balance. It doesn't matter the gun, just the user. I can take down a PBP or Bar user easily with thommy in a spar setting and probably base if I played more often then I currently do. It's all relative. |

Era Iphone is targetted at a younger audience - than pc era -, thus the skill level is set lower, as such kills are very easy to come by and deaths are not really weighed in the stats at all, so you can just keep killing and getting back up with very little consequence, so people don't really care as much. I think this is why trying to increase the general skill level is being rebounded more from the higher members of the IEra Team. Personally, I think not using whole numbers for damage would really open the field in terms of gun damage and how we can change the gameplay from that, if nothing else this is an avenue that would be very easy to break into as well as minimise the gap in a better way. This would serve as a good stop gap solution until further adjustments have been explored and utilised. You do need to look at everything from all angles when it comes to changing guns, from using them in events, to sparring, to pking, to basing, they all have their different uses and styles in each of these which have to be taken into account when doing adjustments.

Better yet, lets make all the guns and melees and hats and heads and bodies the same. Reset everyone's kills and base time back to zero. And while we're at it, give everyone a trophy and free money every day. Sheesh :/

I find it wrong now that in the future, their childhood was COD. No offense. Doesn't seem right. Whether the gun needs to be "kid friendly" or not, the Era gameplay itself isn't very "kid friendly". You need to understand the concept of era combat. (Player at the bottom area has the advantage) The controls are simple, yet the gameplay can be difficult for starters. It's not always about the gun that changes things. It's how you use the gun and how you play. |
