Showdown -- Winning Gralats

I used to get 60-200 gralats everytime I WON Showdown. Now when I win I don't get any gralats. Now, the only gralats I get from Showdown are by killing others, and sometimes, I don't even get gralats by killing others.

I don't know if this is purposeful or if this is a bug that needs fixing. I'll look into it though.

Well, there are times when no one is in showdown so you would just afk there and make money.

But I played Showdown with about 6-8 people and won and I received nothing.

How about a system using a ratio like this
each player competing in showdown= +(insert gralat count here) to the winner jackpot.

I don't know if this is gs2 script speak, but wouldn't this mean for every player that participated, the winner receives 1 gralat + a set number? I was thinking it'd be better for players*set amount=reward for victory

Possibly. I remember while showdown was still new I earned about 100+ gralats. Then it gradually went down when less players participated.

I have had this, it just resets the timer to 60 seconds and re-counts down. It doesn't bring you into a match or give you money.

Can't you make a script where if you're afk for 2 minutes you get warped outside?

You should win like 10 gralats for every person in showdown. So 16 players in showdown = winner gets 160 gralats.

Jester raised a good point, but that can be easily fixed if we just calculated the number of players in Showdown, or disable starting matches if there's less than about 3-4 players in the level.

People will take advantage and go on multiple devices and idle in showdown with one, then actively partake with another.

It would make sense to add these features if there were more players, but as of now there isn't a big NEED for it.

Also consider that a lot of you are wanting new content but often want us to go back and experiment with old content which hinders the new content from coming. Allow the team to get all the core stuff out first and see how it goes before wanting to adjust things right now.
