They weren't open until Christmas Eve last year.  

Really? I dont remember only having one day to give gifts... but im guessing youre trying to say itll be the same way this year?

One use items shouldn't be so numerous in presents, kinda unfair for those unlucky enough to get a bunch of them and hardy anything good, remember the holidays are meant to be about being generous!
