Age of Empires Online
Hmm, I stumbled upon a new game called Age of Empires Online that I haven't played before... I'm a fan of the series, so I downloaded it (it's free), and it's actually pretty fun! I recommend trying it out. Age of Empires Online on IGN I haven't gotten very far into the game, just a few tutorials, haven't really reached the online part, though I have seen a few pop ups asking me if I wanted to team up with a buddy... Good first impression, will post more when I get further into the game.

Played it for 5 minutes and then quit. RIP AOE.

Occasionally I play AoE 2 with Graal people (Crono, Door, Luda, Oni, etc) and there's always connection issues. I was looking forward to AoE Online because it has great graphics, but I tried it when it came out and it's just not the same ![]() I wish they'd taken the gameplay from AoE 2 and ported it with modern graphics, but this AoE Online is totally different from what I'm used to. Maybe I'll try it out another day. |

Yeah I played it a little farther but it wasn't very good. Rufus, do you have AOE3? I wanna play online with ya ![]() I have AoE2, so if you don't I can reinstall that... (And the whole idea of playing with Door sounds thrilling to say the least ROFL) |

Personally think AOEROR was the best of the series...even if it's outdated.

I've only played 2 and 3, but I think 2 is better, minus the graphics

I was thinking about playing it but the f2p model, the cartoonish graphics, and the medieval setting made me decide not to.

I used to play AOE2 when I was younger and picked it up recently to find that the disk was scratched, so sad, I'm left with AOE3 which is fun but I don't think it's as good as AOE2. Also, I'll play with you sometime Matt.

Just tried it, it was dissapointing. I got to like level 3 and I realised that the game is split into like 15 realms and that makes the community so small. Also, there's a bunch of weird security things not letting me do anything.

Next weekend let's start a game online, either AOE 2 or AOE 3, any suggestions for which game and the time?

So who wants to participate? (list whether you have 2 or 3)

seriously, AOE2 was the best part. They should do a remake, same game, just better graphics- i would buy it 10 times
