How to choose a monitor for a gaming desktop?
I'm honestly not familiar with desktops like at all. I'm used to with laptops, everything coming right with them. How and where would you go to purchase a monitor for a gaming desktop?

A pretty good option is a BenQ Gaming moniter, they are used at MLG Starcraft tournaments etc, and by a lot of pros, http://store.majorleaguegaming.com/t...aming-monitors The MLG site is not the cheapest price, but its just an example of the BenQ products. But to be honest, most monitors will do fine. |

Anybody else know any cheaper alternatives to these monitors? I Like the monitors large, but not too large.

Team Liquid Monitor Thread should pretty much cover it. The big things are resolution, panel type, refresh rate, and input lag. I highly recommend getting a monitor that can output at least 1920x1080. |

if you're just looking for a gaming monitor and don't really care about panels/quality, then i'd go with benq.
