Should I get the 3DS XL? Pros+Cons Please!
Hi everyone. So remember when Nintendo sold the original 3DS for 250$? I bought it at that price. -Moving On- Christmas is coming up and so I've been thinking about asking my parents or grandparents to get me a 3DS XL- but I heard the graphics aren't as good because of the larger screen. Should I wait for the next portable game console or go ahead and sell my 250$ 3DS and get a 3DS XL? The price cut really sucked (Bad for me, but good for all the other customers of Nintendo.) The game I'll be mostly playing if I get a 3DS XL would be Animal Crossing: New Leaf. So add me if your getting it

I'm not sure how much you can sell it for now. If you can make a profit, why not? If you can't make a profit though I would recommend staying with the normal 3DS, as the XL is not that much better.

If you already have a 3DS and the 3DS XL is just the same thing but jumbo sized then what's the point? Seems like a frivolous waste of money in my opinion.

The Xl systems aren't all that. Seriously, why would you need a bigger version of a portable system?

I don't think they have announced any new portable console yet, so I think it's safe to get the 3DS XL. I don't have one, but it still looks pretty nice to me. As for the visual quality, it's not really noticeably different from the regular sized 3DS. Being a Nintendo product, I don't think the graphics are the main selling point anyway. So I guess it just depends on how bad you want it or what your personal preference is. I'd suggest trying it first. |

I've never seen any point in the XL versions of their portable systems. It's more or less the the same deal as it was with the PSP Go, except slightly less stupid. It doesn't come with any particularly new features other than its unnecessary size increase. Anyway, just stick with a normal 3DS, it's just a waste of money for the XL.

No need to buy it if you have a normal 3DS. Get some games or something.
