Literally... Think about it for a second... When new players play Graal classic for the first time, they complete a tutorial and get 250 gralats... Thats it... Along with the beginner hats.... Which sadly... Can only be used if you purchased the custom pack... Which also includes the ability to use swords... And an unlimited use of shields... Which in overall, the custom pack is exactly the same damn price as the plus version of the game... Whats next? You purchased the custom pack? Or the plus pack instead? Ok, now where are you going to get your hats? RPS? Well its gonna cost you gralats... If you lose, you gotta have to slash all those gralats back again and earn it... Whats that? Need Gralats quick? Well horse farming has been tweaked terribly so i guess you have to go purchase bombs and blow up your entire grassfield... Oh wait, you want that cool looking hat? well its gonna cost 8000 gralats sir... Don't got any? Well simple... Go to the shop and purchase gralat packs using your real currency... 3 dollars = 8000 gralats You just spent 3 dollars on a hat which, obviously, will not be used anymore after you feel like you wanna try a different taste since you wore that hat for weeks/months... Want that awesome looking armor? Well thats gonna cost you 3000 gralats sir... Don't want to waste hours on farming? simple... Buy a gralat pack for a dollar and slash 500 gralats... Emotes? Heads? Bodies? Hats? Swords? Furniture? Items? Pets? Mounts? VIP? Houses? Same thing... Farm endless hours of your life slashing and bombing your a field for gralats... Don't wanna farm? Start spending your real currency on Gralat packs to get the full experience? Don't want to spend currency on gralat packs? You might aswell delete the app.. Cause this is only where the rich people come in to play... Yup.. Graal Classic's variety of Free content is quite terrible... And surprisingly, this is for new players to enjoy. Sadly, i just gave in the exact view of a new player... Hell, even the Graal Classic veterans are complaining... Seriously, what the hell is going on? Are they just avoiding our simple requests and toss in awful looking hats as an update or tweaks of making objects feel smooth than before? Half of the things we asked for was barely free but instead a full cash in.. Why can't you guys take a F**kin break and at least momentarily give new players free updates that will actually get them to stay in this game rather than complaining why there isn't anything good in Graal classic... Im not saying to stop the cash updates because Stefan and UnixMad do need their money to support the server and their life... But can you at least post a free update thats useful? RPS is not free because it costs gralats each time you bet... And the tweaks are for items which needs to be purchased... I don't care how many times this needs to be said... And literally, cut the rebel Bullcrap.. You admins are making graal classic look worse each time you attempt to do this... What happened to the past!? Why aren't you admins looking at the F**kin past!? Thats where Graal Classic hit the Jackpot! Why is it now being bombarded with content that requires real money? Why isn't any admin looking at the new players but rather than looking at Stefan himself... Again, im not saying to stop stuffing Stefan's pockets... But if you're gonna do a free update... At least make it fun for new players to enjoy... This is for new players! Im not talking about the veterans! Literally, im not in the mood to sit on a graal chair and watch a group of people do a stupid play... Im not in the mood to have the community Role play as stupid vampires, schoolgirls, and dark guardians just to attract other players... You said its a game with a community feel... Isn't a game supposed to be fun!? I don't think tower taking and sparring is fun because it wastes hours of my life not accomplishing anything at all.. You admins keep saying on this forum that you're trying to make things free... Is that another one of your troll speeches or is that actually going to be free content? Don't try to act like Graal-Experienced know it All's and please understand whats going on in the so called wonderful world of Graal Classic.... Literally, we don't need to hear your so called wisdom on this topic just to make other players feel sad or pissed off at you... And ill be putting a poll... though i agree, i must say if you had a popular game you would try making cash out of it aswell. Plus the game is technically free you can play it without ever spending a penny. if you enjoy it and want to play with more features i think its only fair to pay a small fee, i have enjoyed graal for ages now and have only ever spent a few dollars on it (i bought custom pack and guild house) i recently been playing on pc and you can pay with things using gralats so if you farm and have a pc u never have to spend anything to gain all the features you want

It's from this false statement that I decided to read no more, I just glimpsed over it. Most of those "graal know it all admins" are actually very knowledgable on the subject of graal, such people as azrael have been on graal long before iGraal was ever considered so he knows what his talking about rather then being a troll. If you knew a bit about graal then you would know that players have been outraged ever since graal went p2p, did it change back? no of course not... This is pretty much history repeating itself where it's stefan and unixmad setting the prices and the staff just following orders so don't blame them for these 'money grabs'(the staff get paid **** all, it all goes to stefan and unixmad). Stefan is aware of people hating the prices on graal but his not going to change ****, why? Because people are still paying, if there's no market then stefan isn't going to get money but he will get a clue on customer satisfaction, I suggest either stop whining about this stupid same old stuff or take it up a level and complain straight to stefan which will most likely get ignored and passed off as spam. Either way no matter what kind of support of post count you get out of this I highly doubt anything will change... |

As much as i see this as yet another thread which goes on about how unfair farming is and so on, i have to agree with this thread. Also, its not really in the staff's control on how the game is run in the terms of money so people really need to cut them some slack, theyre not greedy (they're volunteer workers for christ's sake!) Lastly, you should have added a few more options; i.e. Revert to how the game used to be, when farming was good and people could afford nice things, but add extra content which you could buy (stuff like premium hats, mounts, etc).

Why does everyone skim the god damn topic!?!? Read! I didn't mention about having to change back or remove any of the tweaks! All i said is that the new free content coming out isn't fair for free players as all the rare and fun stuff is for paying players only... The only content thats fun for free players is the holiday hunts... But this halloween, we only get a stupid play... I don't care how much cash is stuffed in his wallet... I wish he continues to make money off of it... But to new players, this is pretty much unfair on how their experience is gonna be on the free version of the game. Theres not much to do in the free version other than to role-play and i wouldn't waste my hours slashing grass or pking other players, knowing that theres no accomplishment from it. All im saying is if they can, while making huge heaps of cash, make at least somewhat acceptable content that is free for the new players to enjoy.. I agree with the prices and how they should stay.. But really, theres not much experience for free players. At least add some new elements for the free players... I don't think a halloween based play is gonna show any experience but rather how much people are gonna role play |

Don't like it? Don't support it by purchasing gralat packs and even consider quitting. The "anti-farming" updates weren't intended to make players purchase gralat packs. I believe with the horse "update" Stefan just wanted to be able to provide the functionality to support different kinds of horses/mounts. Side effects have been caused by not directly building it into the client. That said it would be nice if there was actual jobs for players to do but it's very difficult to communicate and organize with Stefan (even when you work with him everyday). |

THE MAIN POINT OF THIS TOPIC WAS TO SHOW THAT THERE HASN'T BEEN ANY FREE INTERESTING CONTENT MUCH.. THE PLAY DOESN'T REALLY HELP MUCH AND WE'RE LIMITED TO A HUGE AMOUNT OF CHOICES BECAUSE EVERYTHING COSTS CASH. ONCE AGAIN, IM NOT ASKING TO GIVE US FREE STUFF AND IGNORE THE CASH STUFF. ITS OK FOR STEFAN TO MAKE CASH OFF OF THIS GAME... BUT THE FREE CONTENT THAT THE NEW PLAYERS ARE GETTING ISN'T FUN MUCH ANYMORE.. WHILE OTHERS DO WANNA PAY OUT OF THEIR WALLET FOR ALL THE COOL FEATURES... THERE ARE SOME THAT EXPECTS SOMETHING AT LEAST FREE ONCE OR TWICE IN A WHILE... AND THAT IT COULD BE ACTUALLY SOMETHING LOOKING FORWARD TO FOR THE NEW PLAYERS... NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY!?!?!?!? |

I remember u once told me to stop complaining and quit, take ur own advise. Free content isn't necessary, I would honestly be kinda mad if they released free stuff. In all I have spent 7-9 dollars on graal, and I have 150+ hats, 50+ furniture, and can scroll down 5 rows of items, I never hack either, this is a pointless thread for ppl who r too lazy too farm for 30 mins.

I was addressing the point people were making about how Stefan intentionally updated horses and the respawn rate to nerf farming gralats. My point is that the "gralat fee of admission" on updates wouldn't be so bad as you make it sound if there were jobs that players could do to make gralats instead of beating bushes all day or paying for them. |
