you guys don't understand what I mean by effort. The stories of their games are poorly written, the gameplays are broken, and the graphics are low quality with many errors.

People just think games from major developers are the best of their type because they haven't heard of better ones from smaller developers because they don't have the insane amount of money to mass advertise their games. You may think a game made by 3000 devs is better than one made with 20, but in reality it is just that larger companies put more games out faster. I small company might spend a year working on a single game while another makes 30 in one year.

Nintendo games tend to have the most polished and well-thought out gameplay out there. This is a general consensus, if you have problems then it's clearly on your end.

Nintendo game graphics are limited by their console(which have been behind the other consoles this generation), but that hasn't stopped them from pushing out beautiful games. If you mean low quality by polycount, it just shows that you're a typical graphics ***** that worries about how many polygons are on the screen at once, regardless of how grey, brown, boring and bloomed they are. Also, what graphical errors?

Also, Nintendo games are far and few between, at least the ones anyone cares about. Zelda games tend to have a 5+ year gap between the next, and the games will be scrapped and started over no matter how far the progress is if Miyamoto doesn't like the game. Sure, they might milk the franchise for their titles, but the actual games are hardly milked.

As long as there are games like CoD or any sports game pushing out a new title every year at full price with minimal change(not to mention the DLC at $15 a pop for a few levels), Nintendo is the least of anyones worries about rushing titles.

Miyamoto himself has said he does not care about story in his games...he said he wishes players would ignore the story.

The gameplay in Nintendo games are probably the best in the business...besides a few gems between the piles of generic FPS and crappy platformers and racing games.

I can probably assume Skill's favorite game is Black Ops or Modern Warfare, or any of the other 16 COD games.

Poorly written? I'm pretty sure Nintendo games have the most interesting story lines in comparison to most games... as for the graphics being "low quality with many errors" i would like to know were you see these errors? I see Nintendo as being a great gaming company with a unique look to it, they focus more on making a fun game rather then making it look "real". If you want good graphics that look real, go outside.

I dont really like the handheld nintendo consoles tbh, but the game Kid Icarus uprising really does excite me though the fact i've been waiting forever for this to come out and its coming out on nintendo 3DS, nintendo games arn't so bad really im just in the classic games i.e zelda games, mario, kid icarus, etc

As it has been said before, the 3D strains your eyes. One of my friends which played on a 3DS for only 2 hours had a headache because of how much it strains your eyes, personally i would advise not to get one, it seems like it isnt very good for your health at all.
Surely the games would be out for the normal DS?

Not really. 3DS was supposed to represent gamecube like graphics as an awesome handheld. It still has backwards compatibility on DS games
