Just a small tip: play bots your first few games to get a basic understanding of the game. Until you can beat intermediate bots(which are still really easy) don't jump into pvp games. You'll get beaten by people playing on new accounts.

I had the mistake of telling my brother to play pvp his first game, he went like 0-25 as nunu and everyone was raging at him.

So I hit lv30 today...  

grats. btw , have you tried ARAM? its on the proving grounds map in the custom game selection and its just one lane and nonstop teamfight action. its amazing. Also usually people set it to all random, so everyone gets a random champion  

Yeah, I've played an unspokenly coordinated ARAM (not so much on the random) game in a normal once. One person typed in /all: ARAM!!!! - but we didn't follow up and went to the jungle/laning phase while they pushed mid with five. We actually almost lost since they took our inhib at around Level 8, but we tagged along with the ARAM and somehow won.  

Xin Zhao and Katarina are amazing.

Yeah, what I meant was there is actually a dedicated map called Proving Grounds that is just 1 lane with no jungle or anything and its only available in custom games. it's a lot of fun.  

I know what Proving Grounds is.  

I gotta try Xin Zhao. I want to experiment with Rumble as well, but I'm not familiar with his mechanics.

Is Xin Zhao a balanced champion right now? His nerf barely did him in.

Sorta. If he starts with an early 2 kills, it's game over for the other team. If he's shut down early, he's a paperweight until late game.  

Alright, looks like I'll be trying him out soon. Anyway, which role do you usually fill, Talon?  

When I run 5-man premades in draft, I'm jungler 80% of the time. Occasionally I'll run top or mid. Favorite junglers right now are Kha'Zix, Yi, and Nocturne.

Jungle Yi is so underrated in Ranked.
