If I am correct, the goal of this thread is to list who you think are the current top 10 fighters. Device specification is nowhere in there, and should probably be left alone to avoid the inevitable argument between those with common sense and those without.. Also, most of the players you see on classic iPhone using a computer today played for years on an iPod before even touching a computer for Graal. I have yet to find a player who genuinely used "pc's or ipads to be good sparrers ".. Sounds like a generalization to me, and a damn inaccurate and mindless one at that. Also, I don't like to speak out in topics like these, but your list is horrid in my opinion lol. Many of those players don't even spar anymore, and I feel like you haven't ever actually fought them; Just going by what you hear. I'm fine with older players holding spots, but not ALL of them.. Its like you forgot about the newer generation of decent fighters worth mentioning. |

@ Markus Im flattered that you'd even include me in your top 10, but truthfully I wouldnt even include myself in the top 10 sparrers on iClassic. Maybe on a different server I'd probably think differently but iClassic sparring is definately not my strong suit. As far as a list for the top 10 iClassic sparrers goes, based almost soley on my experiance of sparring them or seeing them spar. In no particular order. Thallen Prince Scooby/JaCk Ares Dante David Ethereal Talbourn Gzook Nadi/Shannon (Both are very good sparrers not quite sure whos better) Others that deserve a mention are Dope (Got huge potiental), Angelus, Extrav, Simple, Zeross (Would be in my top 10 If he sparred more actively on iClassic), Narwhal and Unknwon Mirage. Sorry If I missed a few out, also I've seen Rufus and Crono mentioned in this thread personally have not seen them spar on iClassic therefore would be unfair to judge their ability based simply of what others have said in this thread. |

I'm sure some older sparrers might make the list if they played more often, but as of right now I don't think they are much worth mentioning.. I mean, they don't even show up on the leaderboard, so I wouldn't consider them active enough. I was really only worried about the extreme device separation.. It looked like a list from 2010 ahaha.. |

Another thing worth mentioning are the people (most notably, but not restricted to, Comyt and Kevin91) who create multiple accounts and idle up hours for the sole purpose of laming their way up the leaderboard. I don't know why you do it. Anyone who is in tune with the sparring community isn't going to think you're any better because of that. IMO, it makes you look a little obsessed and as if you're trying a little too hard to be better than you actually are. I understand having one account for an iDevice and one for the PC, but Comyt has, what, 5 or more? Kevin probably has 3, maybe more? You can veil it with, "I'M JUST TRYING TO FILL UP THE LEADERBOARD TO SHOW HOW AMAZING I AM," but the truth is that you're stockpiling accounts and trying to build up to 350 so you can log on, win a single spar, and once again lame your way back up to the #1 leaderboard rank. It's dumb as hell seeing one of those two an a brand new account with a record like 35-7 and a status message bragging and calling PC players bad. Yes, you're a true champion of sparring because you managed to beat a player with 7500+ points one or two times and jump the leaderboard. Have a trophy. Someone should probably edit the leaderboard so that it is one user per device type per IP. The problem would persist, but there's no other way to stop people from being that lame I guess. If your goal is to abuse the system and work up to #1 on a leaderboard, congrats, you've accomplished that. If your goal is to prove yourself as the best sparrer on the game, because you're #1 on an abused leaderboard, then nope. That's something you'll never see me do FYI. Just like you'll never see me complain and/or make excuses after a spar. That's just flat out ruining the whole purpose of the leaderboards. |

Here's another great example of what I'm talking about: He comes out of hiding to queue up against a complete newbie. Gets to 0.5 and what does he do? Let's plug-pull/turn off wireless so that the spar results in a tie because we don't want to lose our lamed-up spar points: If you care enough to go to these lengths, I feel pretty sorry for you. For the record, that's Dae. Sorry to bust your balls, but yeah. |

wrong wrong wrong. That is a player named Prince (as listed in Dae's Top 10). He would usually set his nick as Dae on the leaderboards just to confuse everyone else. But I have to fully agree with all that multi-account ****. It makes you look weak in my opinion. |
